From August to October, the 1,000-hectare Kaas Plateau in Satara, Maharashtra is home to one of the most beautiful natural phenomena as wild flowers carpet the land, as far as the eye can see, with a riot of colours. More than 850 species of flowering plants are found here, prompting UNESCO to declare it a bio-diversity site.
Hop on to the bus with us as we dash over to the Valley of Flowers and treat our eyes (and cameras) to a delightful Sunday. We will walk around the plateau with a Botanist for company to help us really appreciate this magical view. Plus enjoy a scenic drive through the forest on our way to the Valley.
