Maharashtra's Very Own Valley of Flowers - Kaas Plateau

Trip Type Trekking
Difficulty Easy
Date Sunday, 25 September 2016

From August to October, the 1,000-hectare Kaas Plateau in Satara, Maharashtra is home to one of the most beautiful natural phenomena as wild flowers carpet the land, as far as the eye can see, with a riot of colours. More than 850 species of flowering plants are found here, prompting UNESCO to declare it a bio-diversity site.
